Crest The male Pteranodon sternbergi had a larger upright crest on top of the head compared to females’ smaller crest. Clawed hands These creatures had small hands with four claws on them. Massive wingspan Males had a 3m wingspan. Head wear The raised crests at the back of their heads may have been used to attract mates, as well as help change direction in flight.
